Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of the flower bulb region near the Waddenzee, Appels En Peren Bed And Breakfast offers a delightful retreat that feels both cozy and extraordinarily welcoming. My recent visit there for New Year was enriched by the charming apartment, where French doors opened onto a private terrace, a perfect spot for quiet reflection. The garden was a joy, shared only among a few other guests, and the peaceful orchard next to the property added to its serene atmosphere. A special mention must go to our host; their kindness and enthusiasm shone through as they arranged bike rentals and provided insights into local treasures like the famous Alkmaar cheese market. With a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living space, this B&B feels like a slice of home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Appels En Peren to anyone seeking tranquility, enriched by the personal touch of attentive service.
